Proper care and maintenance is needed to ensure accessories can last long and remain in good, wearable condition. Generally, avoid allowing your accessories to come into contact with soap, bleach, detergent and other chemical products as they have contents which will damage accessories. Care should also be taken when wearing accessories as rough handling and dropping may also result in breakage of the accessories.
Hair accessories and jewlery should be kept in clean and cool areas, preferably in boxes, away from moisture and dust. They should also be removed before sleep.
Plastic, nylon and acetate accessories can be rinsed with lukewarm water.
Accessories containing Crystals can be rinsed with lukewarm water.
Accessories containing pearls can be rinsed with cold water. In addition, avoid storing such accessories in areas where they will be exposed to strong sunlight.
Metal accessories can be rinsed with water but must be dried (with towels) afterwards. They should also not be allowed to come into contact with water to prevent oxidation.
Jewelry should not be allowed to come into contact with water.
Jewelry containing metal, pearl and crystal materials should not have perfume, hairspray or other chemical products sprayed directly on them.
Jewelry can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth.
